Peachy Iced Tea Paradise
·
·
I found this simple recipe several years ago after discovering "Simply Peach Juice" at a grocery store. Loving fresh, juicy peaches and fresh peach juice, I was skeptical of a packaged juice. But after my first sip, I was amazed by the "just-picked flavor" of this packaged peach juice. And since peaches aren't always in season, "Simply Peach Juice" lets you enjoy Peach juice and Peach Iced Tea year-round.
NOTE: When you buy the recommended teas for these recipes, The Cultured Cup will include 4 of the "Make Your Own Teabags."
Ingredients:
- 4 teaspoons of "Classic English Breakfast" black tea or "Decaf English Breakfast" black tea, or 4 English Breakfast teabags or 4 Decaf English Breakfast teabags.
- 4 "Make Your Own Teabags." When you buy the tea, The Cultured Cup will include 4 of these teabags!
- 2 cups of boiling water
- 2 cups of Simply Peach Juice
- Ice cubes
- Fresh peach slices or fresh mint leaves.
Instructions:
- Put 4 regular or decaf English Breakfast tea bags in a heat-safe pitcher and pour boiling water over them.
- Let the teabags steep for 4-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Discard the teabags.
- Stir in the Simply Peach juice while the tea is still warm so the flavors blend.
- Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2-3 hours.
- Fill glasses to the top with ice, pour the tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh peach slices and/or fresh mint leaves.
