Blue Cool Coffee Refresher

This recipe was adapted from JURA, Inc. 

We loved this layered mocktail from the minds at Jura. Made in an instant with the help of our Jura Z-10, but you can modify it to fit whatever coffee maker you have! The citrus is very refreshing paired with the coffee. Maybe consider trying a bean with berry or bright notes like our La Minita Viennese or Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

Ingredients (for 1 person)

• 1.5 oz espresso 
• Blue Curaçao or syrup for mocktail*
• Lemonade
• Ice cubes

Directions

• Fill a tall glass with ice about 2/3 full with lemonade. 
• Add about a half of an ounce of the syrup to the glass by slowly pouring down the side of the tilted glass. 
• Carefully pour a fresh espresso over the back part of a spoon onto an ice cube in the tall glass.

Note*  you can make your own Blue Curaçao syrup by making a coconut simple syrup and adding a couple drops of blue food coloring.

Or for an adult drink use regular Blue Curaçao
