RHAPSODY IN RED
Ingredients:
- 1 cup half and half
- ½ cup of our White Drinking Chocolate
- ½ cup of our Love Potion black tea
- ¼ cup Raspberry Tea Sauce (recipe below)
Directions: For Tea Sauce
- . Make ½ cup (4oz) of triple strength Love Potion black tea by adding 1.5 heaping tsp to 4oz of boiling water, and steep at least 5 minutes
- . Strain tea into a small saucepan
- . Add 1 cup of frozen or fresh raspberries into the saucepan with the tea and heat gently until the raspberries are heated and soft
- . Strain the sauce into a small jar
- . Note: The sauce can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator
- . Heat the half and half in the Breville Café Frother or in a double boiler
- . When the half and half is warm, slowly add the white chocolate pieces and allow to melt while continuing to froth
- . Gradually add the raspberry tea sauce and continue frothing
- . Serve in small demitasse cups and garnish with a whole raspberry
