Heart to Heart Chocolate Cookies



  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • ½ cup Butter
  • 2 oz Dark chocolate, chopped


  • ½ cup white chocolate chips, melted


  1. . Melt the butter and chocolate in the microwave
  2. . Set aside
  3. . Place flour and sugar in processor and pulse on and off
  4. . Add the yolks and butter, then chocolate mixture
  5. . Pulse until a dough is formed
  6. . Wrap in saran wrap and set aside for about 30 minutes
  7. . Heat oven to 350
  8. . Using half the dough at a time
  9. . Roll out dough between 2 sheets parchment to ¼“ thick
  10. . Cut into 2 size hearts (one goes on top of the other)
  11. . Set on parchment covered cookie sheets
  12. . Bake for about 7-10 minutes or until firm to the touch
  13. . Do NOT over bake – the cookies will crisp up as they cool
  14. . Sandwich with a ½ teaspoon of the melted white chocolate
  15. . Allow to set

Note: You can decorate the cookies as you like
