The honey enhances the tea's natural flavors, the lemon adds a bright citrus note, and the mint gives it a fresh finish. It's a simple way to make an already great cup of tea feel extra special.
Ingredients:
- 1 FORTY-THIRD BLEND filled tea bag (or 1.5 teaspoons of loose-leaf)
- 8 oz hot water
- 1 teaspoon local honey
- A squeeze of fresh lemon
- 2–3 fresh mint leaves
- Ice (optional for an iced version)
Directions:
- Steep the tea in hot water for about 4–5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bag, stir in the honey until dissolved.
- Add a squeeze of fresh lemon and gently bruise the mint leaves before dropping them into the cup.
- Enjoy it warm, or let it cool and pour it over ice for a crisp, refreshing drink.
Enjoy,
