French Toast with Tangerine Sauce

Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups milk (may sub: nut milk, rice milk, or coconut milk)
- 1/2 cup honey
- pinch salt
- 3 thick slices of day old bread cut into cubes
- 3 Tbsp cinnamon sugar
- 10 tangerines (may sub: mandarins or oranges)
- 1/2 cup strong Paris Breakfast tea
- 1/4 cup sugar
Directions for French Toast
- . Preheat oven to 350℉
- . Butter a 9x13 baking pan
- . Sprinkle the bread cubes evenly over the pan
- . Beat together the eggs, milk, honey, and salt
- . Pour mixture over the bread cubes
- . Press the bread into the milk
- . Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the bread mixture
- . Bake for about 30 - 40 minutes or until puffed and golden
Directions for Paris Breakfast Tea Sauce
- . Squeeze the juice of 6 tangerines into a small saucepan
- . Add the tea and sugar
- . Simmer gently for 5 minutes
- . Remove from the heat
- . Peel and slice the remaining 4 tangerines
- . Add the slices to the tangerine sauce
- . Cool the sauce and serve with the French Toast
