Chocolate Mint Granita


  • 2 cups strong brewed chocolate mint tea, strained
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3-4 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 1-2 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 sprig fresh spearmint

  1. . Heat the tea in a medium saucepan together with the sugar and cocoa
  2. . Bring JUST to the boil
  3. . Remove from heat, stir in the dark chocolate
  4. . Add the sprig spearmint and allow to chill for about 2-3 hours
  5. . Stir the mixture and remove the spearmint
  6. . Freeze
  7. . To serve : allow to defrost SLIGHTLY ….. break up the crystals and serve with a spearmint sprig garnish!
