Open Tea & Coffee Tasting Experiences: Every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., we feature open-house tea and coffee tasting sessions. Soon we will extend these experiences virtually, so stay tuned!
Recently, a customer showed up with 10 college buddies in tow—all tea novices—asking to try the Cream Oolong their friend wouldn't stop talking about. I wondered what their reaction would be when they tasted their first non-teabag tea! As I filled their cups, I told them, "Some people say this tea reminds them of a buttery snack food." Then I witnessed 10 "aha moments" as several said in unison that the tea tastes like buttered popcorn.
In-House and Virtual Tea & Coffee Classes: We offer a series of classes that not only provide a deeper dive into developing your tea or coffee palate, but also explore the many cultures that prepare and serve these beverages in their own distinctive ways.
Customized Tea or Coffee Events for Businesses & Private Clubs: We have customized tea and coffee experiences for Fortune 500 corporations, SMU Continuing Education, the Crow Museum of Asian Art, and the Dallas Museum of Art.
Take a break and treat yourself to a “tea spa” at The Cultured Cup! Groups of 4-8 can experience a 45 minute in-store tea sipping session with an emphasis on a slow-down, mindful experience. Sessions will be led by a Cultured Cup tea specialist and can include multiple teas to sample and whatever topic you desire.
Sessions are available M-F, 10:00-4:00 (Not available on Sat. or Sun.) and are $25 per person.
