The Mother of all Green Teas

The Mother of all Green Teas
Why is the quality of Matcha important?  Unlike most commercial Matcha, our ceremonial Matcha is shade-grown, which reduces the bitterness and increases the levels of L-Theanine, a powerful amino acid and anti-oxidant.  By adding a small amount of matcha to your cold water bottle, you're hydrating and adding the most powerful plant-based antioxidants to your diet.

How to Make a Bowl of Matcha

Because of its mild flavor, Matcha readily takes on the flavors of other foods. The recipes below are just a few examples:

Trade your morning coffee for a Matcha Latte, it's full of anti-oxidants.

Servings: 1

3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk, soy milk, rice milk, or cow's milk

Preparation

Bring 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk, soy milk, rice milk, or cow's milk to a bare simmer in a small pot over medium-high heat.
