The Alishan mountains are prized for producing sublime oolongs that are floral, creamy,  and complex. This winter plucking uses the QuinXing cultivar which present a bold and nuanced flavor.

Tea Type or Tisane: Artisan Oolong | Flavors: honeysuckle, wisteria, subtle fruit, lingering mouthfeel

Tea Tips: To best enjoy the complexities of this tea, enjoy using Eastern steeping methods. 

Ingredients: 100% Taiwan oolong.

Cultivar: QuinXing

Steeping: water, 195°F, 2–3 min. Enjoy multiple steeps.  Eastern-style: 2 tsp (3 gm), 4 oz water, 195°F, 1st & 2nd Steep = 30-50 sec, add  30 sec to each steeping, steepp 4-6 times

Fun Fact:  The mountains by Alishan in Chiayi County, Taiwan reach altitudes of up to 1800 meters. The elevation, cool and misty climate that have large temperature differences between day and night cause the tea plants to grow more slowly and produce sweet, mellow, and creamy teas with distinct verdant and floral notes.
