    • This word Elysée comes from the Greek word Elysion. In classical mythology, the Elysian fields was the final resting place of herioic souls. The word came to mean any place of bliss. The Paris boulevard Champs-Elysées (aka Elysian Fields) was named for the beautiful park that originally bordered it.
