    • Each towel is 100% cotton and measures 24" x 31".
    • The English translation of the French on the tea towel is:  Crispy and soft pistachio and rose macarons with green tea flavored with licorice and jasmine.
    • CARE: Machine wash with warm water on gentle cycle. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Wash dark colors separately. Tumble dry on low heat. Remove while still damp. Use a steam iron as needed.
    • The term "tea towel" originated in England in the early 19th century and was the linen of choice for Victorian ladies. They often used tea towels to ensure that their expensive teaware wasn't broken by a careless servant.
    • What can go wrong when preparing macarons?  Here's a list of just a few of the problems:  1. The macaron shells have cracked because the batter was overmixed.  2. If the macarons do not spread out and retain their pointed tops, the batter was undermixed.  3. If the macarons have no feet, the egg whites were not aged enough.  4. If the macarons shells are splotchy, the almond powder is too oily.  5. If the macarons shells are hollow, the egg whites were over-beaten.
