The Tingari are a group of ancestral spirit beings that brought culture and art to Indigenous Australians.  The apron's design depicts their art with a series of linked concentric circles with connecting lines in reddish earth tones.  Made of 100% French-made damask cotton, this artful apron is coated to prevent stains.

    • Each apron is 100% cotton and measures 30" x 33." 
    • CARE:  Coated cotton resists stains and wipes clean with a damp cloth.
    • TO WASH: Because of the stain-resistant coating, the apron does not need to be frequently washed
    • When washing, use a small amount of color-fast detergent with no fabric softener in cold water, and do not use fabric softener.
    • Air dry and do not use a dryer.
    • Iron on the non-coated side ONLY!
    • Aboriginal culture dates between 60,000 to 80,000 years, when Aborigine’s first settled in Australia.  With no written language for Indigenous Australian's, they communicated cultural stories through symbols and icons painted on rocks with various shades of ochre.  Some of this art dates back 40,000 to 60,000 years.
