Artisan Rustic Stoneware Grey Basket, Round

Made in USA by Artist Ginny Marsh

This one-of-a-kind, small stoneware tea basket by artist Ginny Marsh is inspired by wabi-sabi (finding beauty in imperfection).

Read more about Ginny Marsh in the D Magazine article "Imperfect Bowls Are the Perfect Vessels for Matcha." To learn more about wabi-sabi, go to Kyle Stewart's TEDxSMU talk.

Product Details: 4" wide x 3.75" high. Including the reed handle, the basket is 9.75" high. The diversity of colors, textures, and patterns in this basket creates an endless variety of visual and tactile adventures.

Fun Facts: Wabi-sabi stoneware reflects materials in the natural world and how they change from season to season and over time. In Japan, wabi-sabi stoneware that is not used is said to have died, and these pieces are passed from generation to generation.
