Zesty Ginger Mango Swirl


  • 3 cups water
  • 2 Tbls unpeeled ginger root, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons loose white ginger mango tea
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • 1/2 cup mango juice
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced (optional)


  1. . In a 2 quart saucepan on high heat, boil the water, ginger root, and sugar, stirring often until sugar is dissolved
  2. . Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 5 minutes
  3. . Add tea and remove from heat
  4. . Cover and allow to steep for 15 minutes
  5. . Allow this mixture to cool to room temperature (about 10 minutes)
  6. . Pour through strainer into 2 quart pitcher
  7. . Refrigerate for 2 hours or until chilled
  8. . Just before serving, add sparkling water, mango juice, and ice cubes to pitcher
  9. . Garnish with lemon and orange slices (optional)
