Matcha cocktail in a low ball glass on ice garnished with a slice of crystalized ginger

Matcha and honey-ginger white balsamic are a matcha made in heaven!

Recipe was created for The Cultured Cup by Greg Duke


  • ½ tsp matcha (we recommend our Kyoto) 
  • 1 oz water*
  • ½ oz honey-ginger flavored white balsamic vinegar  (Can be found at 1890 Marketplace Dallas) 
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 3-4 oz carbonated water.  


  1. Mix matcha with water in the bottom of the glass until well blended.  
  2. Add balsamic vinegar and simple syrup and mix well.   
  3. Add ice to glass and top with 3-4 oz of carbonated water, stir and enjoy.   

Note: For an alcoholic matcha cocktail replace water with gin.
