Welcome to The Cultured Cup

Since our opening day almost fourteen years ago, The Cultured Cup has been introducing the Dallas /Ft. Worth area to new and exciting teas, coffees, and chocolates from around the world. Our calendar continues that journey with new classes and tastings for your exploration and enjoyment. To get you started, we offer an introductory class for each of our specialties: tea, coffee, and chocolate. After learning about proper preparation and storage for each item, you may taste samples from the major growing regions to educate your palate. To increase your knowledge of the world's tea and coffee traditions, we have added classes that explore the traditions of France, England, China, Japan, India, Ethiopia, Morocco, and Texas. Each class is conducted by an exper from The Cultured Cup or from one of our culinary partners. After you've explored these fascinating traditions, The Cultured Cup can help you with time-saving preparation essentials and unique serving pieces to make the best beverage. We will also be doing a variety of sales throughout the remainder of 2009, so please keep an eye on our twitter page and subscribe to our enewsletter to explore some new areas of our store at great values. Cancellations must be made 72 hours before event in order to receive refund. 2010 Rose Weekend Date: Saturday, March 6th, and Sunday, March 7th Time: 10 AM - 3 PM and 11 AM - 2 PM Location: North Haven Garden Cost: FREE Shop this weekend for the best selection of more than 300 rose varieties including AARS Winner "Easy Does It," all varieties of EarthKind Roses and much more. Speak with local Rose Societies and vendors about the best information for rose garden success. The Cultured Cup will be on hand distributing samples of hot and cold tea to refresh everyone in the greenhouse. Teas will also be available for purchase in bags and tins. T-BAR Date: Friday, March 5th Time: 6:30-8:30 PM Location: The Cultured Cup Cost: $30 annual membership The March edition of T-Bar will feature an exclusive and intimate installment of our most recent SMU Continuing Education Class on the History of Tea in the White House. Learn some intriguing facts about the role tea has played over the years with presidential families, while viewing some rare photography and sipping some quintessential White House Brews.
